Corporate Weaving Workshop
Corporate Weaving Workshop
Join us for a unique weaving experience at our new Ngumpie Weaving Workshop!
In this class, you will have the opportunity to create a beautiful basket using the ancient art of basket weaving. We will guide you through the traditional techniques that have been shared with Aboriginal people for centuries. Immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage as you learn to weave your own basket.
Ngumpie, a word from the Barkindji language, translates to "beautiful." As you weave and shape your basket, you will witness the beauty of this craft coming to life before your eyes. Each step of the process will be a testament to the intricate skills and artistic expression embedded within the Aboriginal culture.
Whether you are a seasoned weaver or a beginner with no prior experience, this workshop is open to all skill levels. Join us at Ngumpie Weaving Workshop and embark on a journey that combines art, tradition, and the wonders of nature. Let your creativity flourish as you weave a piece that holds not only beauty but also a deep connection to country.
We look forward to weaving together an unforgettable experience with you.

Tegan was amazing. So lovely, patient and caring in her approach to teaching all members that attended the workshop. Each person had nothing but praise and gratitude for the learning this skill. Thank you very much Tegan! Looking forward to doing this with you again in the future.
