Join us in our Pandanus Mat Weaving Workshop where you are taught special techniques handed down by our ancestors over thousands of years. Over the course, we'll share with you techniques for weaving Pandanus fibre. Everything is hands-on. Plus, you get to take your piece of crafty art home.

Exclusive Weaving Masterclass with Regina Wilson

Regina Wilson, a master fiber weaver from Peppimenarti, NT,

will be hosting an exclusive weaving masterclass at Warriewood.

Participants can look forward to:

• Demonstrations on stripping Merrepen (Pandanus)
• A presentation on bush dyes and the roots/plants they originate from
• Pre-dyed Merrepen provided to showcase the colours
• (which we will then use for weaving)
• A lesson on weaving stitches
